Due to the coronavirus pandemic, music events were cancelled in summer 2020. The Wireless Festival had been due to take place in London’s Finsbury Park, but instead took place – without an audience – in Alexandra Palace, London, and Los Angeles. It was filmed on multiple 360-degree cameras by Melody VR and streamed online as the Wireless Connect festival. Fans could watch the performances on phones or other devices, using a virtual reality app to look around the concert space.
I filmed and edited trailers for the UK music acts using conventional 2D cameras. This is a short selection. Acts shown here include: Stefflon Don, Big Narstie, Mist x Steel Banglez, Lady Leshurr, Ivorian Doll, Russ Millions and Big Heath.
